The myth
On the Turkic and Kazakh steppes, the Tulpar is the winged horse of heroes. Its wings unfold only at a gallop, and it bonds only with a rider worthy of it.
In the Arena
Cut from only a few fragments, its crystal releases nothing more than a young, short-winged Tulpar. It takes the warrior on its back and races from point to point across the same-coloured tiles, two strides and no more, then fades away. But those two strides are often enough to save a life.
In play
The warrior moves up to 2 tiles through a vertex, in a straight line.
