The myth
For the peoples of Arnhem Land, in northern Australia, Mamaragan is the Lightning Man. He travels in the storm clouds, hurls lightning with stone axes, and spends the dry season hidden at the bottom of a pool.
In the Arena
In the Arena, Mamaragan's spirit does not hurl lightning: it becomes lightning. The warrior it carries is flung like a bolt, three tiles straight ahead from vertex to vertex, and lands amid the smell of rain.
In play
The warrior moves up to 3 tiles through a vertex, in a straight line.
