The myth
The Romans remembered Picus, a king of Latium so handsome that the sorceress Circe sought to seduce him. He rejected her, and she turned him into a woodpecker, forever a king in a bird's body.
In the Arena
His spirit flies low and straight. He does not follow the colours, he crosses them, from edge to edge, tapping each tile with his beak as if to check it holds. Three tiles further on, he sets the warrior down and fades back into his small crystal.
In play
The warrior moves up to 3 tiles through a side, in a straight line.
